“My heart’s desire is to help the animals.”

- ELPHABA THROPP

Cancer is unfortunately a common diagnosis in our pets.  About 50% of dogs that live to the age of 10 years will develop cancer, with 1 in 4 developing cancer in their lifetime. Veterinary medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, veterinarians specialized to treat cancer, are available to help you and your pet.  There are fewer than 500 veterinary oncologists in the United States and most are located in larger cities, which can lead to long wait times for the consultation and inadequate coverage in underserved areas.

If you’re dealing with a cancer diagnosis for your pet or need expert input on a case, I’m here to help make the process easier, more accessible, and more personalized. You and your pet deserve the best care, no matter where you live.

My mission is simple: I want owners to understand their options and I want pets to have the best quality of life possible, regardless of what treatment is pursued.
